Job description

The purpose of this job is to assist two or more CRM officers in day to day relationship management tasks to insure overall department goals are met and contribute positively to the department’s cohesiveness and spirit of cooperation.

Please note: This position is a temporary position located in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for the department. Duties include, but not limited to answering phones and referring calls to appropriate staff, coordinating officer calendars and scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, memos, reports, ordering supplies and maintenance requests, coordinating required training, opening and distributing mail, and preparing expense reports.

Gather information and prepare loan applications, disburse loan advances, accurately quote payoffs, order credit reports, pull financial statements, collect and review documentation for accuracy and compliance prior to submission for processing, and work closely with Relationship Managers in attaining and approving collateral releases.

Interface with other departments including branch personnel, Loan Operations, Central Document Processing (CDP), Wire Transfer, treasury Services, Mail Distribution, Trust, Compliance, Credit Analysis and Credit Operations, and the Legal Department.

Assisting customers with general banking functions (post close) as needed including transferring funds, wires, and balancing checking accounts.

Provide excellent customer service to all clients, internally and externally.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience preferably in an administrative role or previous FSR banking experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of and basic use of accounting and mathematical skills
  • Due to the critical element of customer exposure, the preferred associate must demonstrate excellent customer service ability in addition to each of the following:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Good time management skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • MUST be able to exercise confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Two-year degree with business administration emphasis preferred
  • Experience in Processing Payments and initiating wires preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
