The United States Farm Service Agency in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a position located in the Virginia State Office to support Farm Loan Managers and Officers across lending, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidation, and servicing of agricultural loans.

The incumbent helps formulate and implement farm loan programs, policies, and procedures for the assigned area; qualifications emphasize general experience and a four-year degree as required by the GS-05 level.

This position provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Managers and Farm Loan Officers that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures for the assigned farm loan area.

General Experience Requirement

For the GS-05 grade level: You must have three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, that demonstrates your ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; to plan and organize my work; and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Education at the GS-05 grade level: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience as listed above.
