Prairie Farms Dairy in Traverse City, MI is hiring a Loadout Associate for our Warehouse/ Cooler Loadout team. The role includes loading route trucks, verifying orders, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Warehouse, distribution, logistics, or loadout experience preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Load, stage, and load customer orders onto refrigerated route trucks according to procedures and schedules.
Verify quantities, codes, and configurations to ensure shipment accuracy.
Load/unload from refrigerated trailers, pallets, racks, and storage areas safely and efficiently.
Maintain inventory counts and document all product movements.
Report discrepancies, damage, shortages, or quality concerns promptly.
Adhere to safety policies, GMPs, and food safety requirements; wear PPE.
Keep the dock and warehouse organized; support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to maintain operations.
