Job summary

Nouryon in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Loading Technician I to operate the daily loading and unloading of chemicals, ensuring safe and compliant practices that protect people and the environment.

You will load hopper cars with sodium chlorate crystal and tank cars or tank trucks with sodium chlorate solution, operate a forklift for bag movements, and document shift activities and logbooks. This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Distribution & Loading Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in loading or related roles is required.
• Experience in rail or chemical loading is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load hopper cars with sodium chlorate crystal.
• Load tank cars or tank trucks with sodium chlorate solution.
• Operate forklift to move sodium chlorate bags.
• Unload salt rail cars or salt trucks, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.
• Inspect equipment and report any issues to supervisor.
• Support production and loading areas to meet shift objectives.
• Document loading operations and shift changes as required.
