Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking a Loading & Storage Technician to join our Plant Operations team in Wever, Iowa. This role focuses on loading and moving fertilizer products safely and efficiently, directly contributing to production reliability and on-time customer delivery.

The position involves outdoor work in all weather, 12-hour shifts on a 4-5-5 rotation, and periodic overtime. We value ownership, initiative, and continuous improvement with hands-on training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operation and mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Ability to work in a safety-critical, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and railcars safely and efficiently while maintaining throughput.
• Identify opportunities to improve loading efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Operate with appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth product flow.
• Build positive working relationships with truck drivers and rail personnel.
