Job summary

Bonnavilla is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support packaging and shipping operations. You will inspect, label, and prepare finished products for delivery, operate forklifts and cranes, and help load trailers with attention to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include documenting loads, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teammates to meet tight deadlines while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and measurement devices (tape measures, calculators).
  • Solid math skills including decimals and fractions.
  • Effective communication and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Supports packaging and shipping by inspecting, labeling and preparing finished products for delivery.
  • Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials safely.
  • Assists in loading trailers from heights up to 14 feet with fall protection; uses a shag truck to back trailers into bays.
  • Captures photos of each completed load for customers’ files.
  • Maintains organization and safety, follows policies, and helps with continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Job description

Supports the packaging and shipping process by inspecting, labeling, and preparing finished products for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well‑being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards.
  • Assists in loading and/or working from trailers at heights up to 14 feet with fall protection.
  • Responsible for safely pulling and backing trailers into bays using a shag truck; training provided.
  • Uses a digital camera to obtain photos of each completed load to be uploaded into customers’ files.
  • Ability to use nail guns, crowbars, and hammers.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines. Proficient in interpreting fabrication drawings to calculate weights and determine appropriate lifting methods. Possesses solid math skills, including working with decimals and fractions.
  • Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
  • Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for creating a collaborative, safe and hazard free environment that is driven by employee involvement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to leading departmental continuous improvement projects, supporting and executing all safety and health policies and programs, employee training and incident investigations.
