Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Production Worker to handle glass pieces and move them through cutting, tempering, and laminating processes. You will load/unload from tables, racks or crates and report to the Production Supervisor.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, requiring teamwork and strong work ethic to build a career with an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to read, understand and communicate effectively.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10+ hours.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements using a tape measure.
• Transport materials including glass to different positions to expedite production.
• Quality inspection, operate equipment, and/or manually maneuver equipment.
• Perform rotating tasks across different departments.

Production Worker is focused on handling glass pieces and rotating them through various phases of cutting, tempering, and laminating processes. This includes on/off-loading from tables, rolling racks, or wooden crates and reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual with a strong attention to detail particularly in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment. Job responsibilities include:

• On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments

Position Pay Range

$21 - $23 USD
