Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Loader/Unloader I to move glass and metal, prepare deliveries, and support the Shipping Department. This role emphasizes safety, quality, reliability, and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

You will off-load and stage products, read simple measurements, and assist with labeling and scanning to ensure accurate orders for customers. OBE offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages; ensure complete orders are loaded to the customer and properly scanned.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.

What You'll Get to Do

The Loader/Unloader I is focused on moving material including glass and/or metal from one position/location to another, preparing delivery trucks for customer deliveries. This includes on/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates and reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has an attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency) strong work ethic/reliability and is a problem solver . A vital member of the Shipping Department , this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independent and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.
• Work performed inside a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.
• The plant facility is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
