Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is hiring a loader technician to support coffee processing operations in a plant environment. The role involves loading green coffee, coordinating with roasting and logistics to meet production schedules, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and the ability to lift up to 150 pounds while working in a team-oriented setting.

We are known for developing and supporting partners who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.The Starbucks experience starts in our Roasting Plants where we have a dedicated team of professional roasters and supporting process teams including planning, warehouse management, packaging, roasting, maintenance, engineering and logistics.As a loader technician, you will:Load green coffee into the Green Coffee Cleaning and Green Coffee Silo Storage system.Monitor and maintain green coffee dust collection system.Coordinate with roasting and logistics partners to ensure schedules are metAssist with coaching and mentoring of new loader technicians.Ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining records and completing map of incoming product dock (IPD) for green coffee.Operate forklift to transport green coffee from interim storage locations in the plant to the loading platform area.Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for the loading station and green coffee silo storage Areas.Advise maintenance partners of conditions impairing safe and correct operation of green coffee loading and transfer systems.Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and follow the key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution; reinforces and coaches others to do the same.Understand and follow established safety guidelines, consistently comply with all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, Lock Out Tag Out).Support food safety, legality and quality programs.Maintain product quality through adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures.
