Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) is seeking a Shipping Department worker in Houston, TX to support daily operations and loading of trucks. Candidates should have forklift experience, basic English literacy, and a focus on safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Compensation:

$18/HR + $1 differential when working on second shift

What You'll Do:

• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Department.
• Follows load schedules and ensures a smooth workflow.
• Co-ordinates the staging area.
• Loads trucks.
• Performs various operations in the department as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Basic ability to read and write English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstratedability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as a part of a team.
• 1+ years of expeirence working with a forklift
• Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
