Job summary

Lowe's in Fort Mill, SC is hiring a Loader to assist customers, load merchandise, and support store operations. The role involves basic computer use and familiarity with retail technology, with emphasis on safe handling of products and efficient service.

You will participate in loading, staging, and order fulfillment across multiple areas of the store, including garden center and Pro loading areas, and help ensure accurate, timely customer service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise; respond to questions.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards or security concerns to management.
