Job summary

Johannigman Excavating, Inc. is seeking a reliable Loader Operator to support our utility crew in Greensburg, IN. You will operate a front-end loader to move dirt, stone, and pipe, assist with excavation and backfill, and perform daily inspections in outdoor conditions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of loader experience, can read basic drawings, and works well in a team with foremen and crew members. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating a front-end loader
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications
• Willingness to work long hours and some weekends when necessary

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently to move and load materials such as dirt, stone, and pipe.
• Assist the pipe crew with excavation, backfill, and material handling needs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with the crew and foreman.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other duties on the job site as needed
