Job Summary

The Loader Operator/Utility is responsible for operating loaders safely and efficiently, along with supporting various tasks around the asphalt plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load aggregate hoppers with appropriate materials, maintain a clean yard, and manage stockpiles.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections, and complete reports accurately.
• Support plant operations through general upkeep, repairs, and assistance as needed.
• Operate additional equipment such as skid steer, fuel truck, water truck, and haul truck.
• Follow all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and MSHA guidelines.
• Attendance in person is required.

Other Responsibilities

• Support departmental goals with additional tasks or projects.
• Work in various weather conditions and perform prolonged standing and walking.
• Navigate the facility safely, including climbing ladders.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside of normal business hours as required.
