Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to operate loaders, backhoes, haul trucks, and other machinery across Idaho job sites.

Responsibilities include safe operation, locating utilities before digging, basic maintenance, and accurate time/ material recording. A GED/HS diploma and prior equipment experience are preferred; a valid driver's license is favored. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of trenching, shoring standards, and weight requirements of loads.
• Keep time and material records and report accurately.
• Travel between job sites and assist laborers as needed.
• Support road construction and paving activities where applicable.
