Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Loader Operator to perform equipment operation and site maintenance on rail projects in North America. You will handle bulk materials with a front-end loader, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment with routine servicing.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years related experience, and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate demonstrates mechanical aptitude, tool proficiency, and the ability to multitask while ensuring quality workmanship and compliance

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
Knowledge of company processes and procedures.
Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Operate loader vehicle to lift and transport bulk materials to trucks.
Start and control engine, gears, and bucket operations to move materials safely.
Carry out routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling, cleaning of loader.
Follow Foreman instructions; ensure safety and economical operation.
Maintain communications with supervisors and customers served.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies; promote safety culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
