HEI Civil is seeking a Loader Operator for our Dallas team. This position entails the safe operation of the company's heavy equipment and demands adherence to safety policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing inspections, and coordinating with team members during operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, demonstrating strong physical capabilities and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years operating a diverse range of heavy equipment.
• Capacity to perform routine inspections on equipment and report repairs.
• Ability to maintain 3 points of contact when operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 3 points of contact on all equipment.
• Respond to signals from staff members and coordinate with them.
• Perform daily walk-around checks and complete checklists.
• Clean and maintain the equipment.
• Attend daily safety meetings with the crew.

Skills

Understanding of computerized controls and electronics

Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
