Primary Function

This role involves working closely with laborers to complete construction jobs. Candidates should be energetic, dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in operating front end loaders. Responsibilities include safe and timely transportation of materials, operating hand and foot controls, and reporting to the Plant Manager.

Position Requirements

1. Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dozers, following manuals and checklists.
2. Communicate effectively with the Foreman regarding daily tasks.
3. Perform pre-startup checks, keep equipment clean, and conduct regular maintenance.
4. Experience in cutting/welding and physical labor like shoveling is desirable.
5. Assist with laborer duties as needed.
6. Perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
3. Valid documentation for I-9, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
4. Ability to work long hours and adhere to safety protocols.
5. Team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
6. Minimum age of 18; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
