Job summary

SRM Concrete in Tennessee is seeking a Nighttime Loader Operator to run heavy front-end loaders and other equipment, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep the plant flowing. You’ll load/unload and support the team to stay on schedule, while maintaining safety and equipment readiness.

• Experience running loaders or big machines; willingness to learn new equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Safety-focused attitude and ability to speak up if something’s not right.
• Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with strong communication and reliability.
• High school diploma helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep materials flowing.
• Work with crew to maintain schedule and plant operations.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts; report needed repairs.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
• Count inventory and help prevent stockouts of materials.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve efficiency and safety.
• Lend a hand as needed and support teammates on tough jobs.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant—keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side‑by‑side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing—your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized—because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed—whether it’s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you’re willing to learn and work hard, we’ll train you.
• Valid Driver’s License.
