Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction materials in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Loader Operator at our Swampscott, MA location. You will operate heavy equipment to move, load and stockpile raw materials such as sand, gravel and recycled asphalt within the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, truck drivers, and plant personnel.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong awareness to detail and situational awareness.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and use of PPE where required.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move material into bins, crusher, trucks or plant.
• Moves earth or other materials between locations; runs paving/grading equipment.
• Performs visual and safety inspections of equipment.
• May perform minor repairs and maintain equipment appearance and checks.
• Keep work area clean and free from debris.
• Follow site safety rules under MSHA regulations.
• Complete paperwork as necessary and assist with other duties.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
