Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator for our Moncks Corner plant to move materials and keep production flowing. You will operate heavy loaders, load trucks and assist the crew while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is preferred, but the company will train.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Safety is a priority for you and your team.
• You can check equipment and handle basic fixes.
• You are a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
• You are physically able to move and work in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Collaborate with crew and production to keep schedules on track.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand as needed to support teammates.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant - keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing - your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized - because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you're needed - whether it's helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart
