Job Description

The Loader Operator I is responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks, setting up equipment for auctions in yards, and assisting customers during and after auctions.

Responsibilities

1. Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
2. Assist in setting up equipment in the yard for auctions.
3. Help customers load their equipment purchases and answer their questions related to the yard.
4. Support RB’s Unreserved Commitment to Safety by taking personal responsibility for safety, ensuring everyone goes home safely each day.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Experience operating heavy machinery.
2. Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.
3. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
4. Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
5. A history of working safely and promoting safety among colleagues.
6. Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
7. Team-oriented with willingness to assist others, but also capable of self-starting.
8. Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High attention to detail.
