Loader Operator I in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States (# 2436)

The Loader Operator I is responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks, setting up equipment for auction in yards and helping customers during and after auctions.

Responsibilities

1. Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
2. Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
3. Assist customers in loading their equipment purchases and answer their questions related to the yard.
4. Support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home safely every day by taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your team, co-workers, and customers.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Able to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.
2. Good spoken and written English is required.
3. Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
4. Track record of working safely and helping others work safely.
5. Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
6. Team-oriented, with the ability to self-start and work independently.
