Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers to operate machines.
• Signal the truck driver to position the truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• Oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
