Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Must pass internal certification.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
