Job summary

Domtar is hiring a Loader Operator (Grapple) at our Cross City sawmill to move logs and bulk materials safely and efficiently. You will operate a front-end loader with a grapple, feed conveyors, and assist in loading trucks while keeping equipment well maintained.

Ideal candidates have hands-on loader experience in a production setting, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work with maintenance and supervisory teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a loader in a sawmill or similar environment.
• Ability to perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Strong focus on safety, environmental rules and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader to lift and transport logs and bulk materials.
• Move materials using bucket or grapple and load/unload trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance, fueling and cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and environmental compliance are followed.
