Job summary

APAC-Tennessee, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field crew in a team environment. You will safely operate heavy machinery for road and site projects and report issues to your manager.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, following the Foreman’s directions, and assisting in training junior staff while performing general labor as needed. Must be able to travel and work outdoors in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in construction or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Follow Foreman directions and daily task expectations.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and document findings.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
• Perform general labor duties and other assigned tasks.
