Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator based out of our Eagle Mountain (Buckeye, AZ)location. The Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to meet production goals while conducting inspections, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting team communication and site operations.

Day to Day

  • Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.
  • Perform proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues
  • Assist with safety audits.
  • Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
  • Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals.
  • Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
  • Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
  • Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
  • Some local travel may be required to help at different local sites

Typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needs

About you

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Must have 2 years Loader Operator experience. Preferably with Caterpillar 980 and 988
  • Ability to accept responsibility for their actions specifically Safety related
  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • Positive, Team-based attitude
  • The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat exceeding 100 degrees, cold and rain.
  • While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds. Some shoveling may be required.
