Loader Operator - Join Us and Make a Difference

$32.42 - $36.00 p.h. + penalty rates + super

Alex Fraser Group is Australia's leading manufacturer of recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these resources and reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.

We are seeking a committed Loader Operator to join our team at the Clarinda Recycling Facility. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Saturday mornings from 6:00 am to midday, with potential overtime.

In this role, you will:

1. Operate a Komatsu WA500 in a fast-paced environment
2. Operate a sales loader with Loadrite scales, providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards
3. Maintain even floor levels for safe tipping of demolition waste
4. Load concrete and brick into the quarry crusher for processing into road base products
5. Maintain and repair haul roads
6. Assist in manual tasks and maintenance in the crushing plant
7. Potential to operate a PC350 excavator in the future

This role is ideal if you:

• Have a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Hold an LL ticket and experience operating large loaders in a fast-paced environment (around 40 cycles/hour)
• Possess other tickets (LE, LS, HR) - advantageous
• Have sales and scales experience
• Set high standards for safety, productivity, and efficiency
