Summit Materials is seeking a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented Loader Operator to operate Front End loaders in a Sand and Gravel or Asphalt Manufacturing Environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to support daily production and plant operations.

Assist the plant supervisor with daily operations and maintenance of the plant.

Inspect all areas of the plant to perform belt repairs, screen changes, bearing replacements, and other maintenance tasks.

Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed.

Identify safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, and respond appropriately.

Be available to work evenings and weekends when required.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience operating large aggregate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.

Welding and general mechanical knowledge are preferred.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, operational strategies, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
