Job summary

Knife River Corporation is hiring for a seasonal loader operator at Verendrye, ND. The role focuses on operating and maintaining a loader to feed conveyors and load trucks, with a schedule typically Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus Saturdays as needed.

You will perform routine inspections and safety procedures to protect workers and equipment. Responsibilities include maintenance tasks, safe operation, material handling, and collaboration with team members to meet production specifications

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card, and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a loader to feed conveyors, hoppers, or load trucks.
• Perform daily equipment walk-around inspections and address unsafe conditions.
• Lubricate, fuel, clean and perform preventive maintenance on the loader.
• Load trucks with the driver in sight and ensure safe loading procedures.
• Identify materials and adjust blends to meet job specifications and quality.
