Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in New York's Endicott area is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure proper loading, unloading, and storage of materials and finished products. You will move products through the plant and ensure batches are made according to procedure.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehousing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a sit-down forklift. You will read bills of lading, verify loads, and help with year-end inventory with your team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a sit‑down forklift.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in bundling area to create bundles of pipe for shipments.
• Read and follow Bill of Ladings to load trailers safely per National Pipe requirements.
• Check loads for accuracy before leaving the yard.
• Take pictures of loads for verification purposes.
• Move finished goods from production transfer area to the Shipping Yard.
• Organize and rotate stock in the yard.
• Receive raw materials and warehouse transfers for unloading, inventory, and stock reporting.
• Support year-end inventory counts with the team.

Job Summary

Perform necessary tasks to ensure proper loading, unloading, and storage of materials and finished products. Responsible for the movement of product throughout the plant and for ensuring batches are made according to procedure.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in the Special bundling area in which employees create and build bundles of pipe for special shipments
• Reading and following Bill of Ladings for loads to load flatbed trailers of finished pipe for transport to our customers in a safe and secure manner per National Pipe requirements
• Checking other employees loading bills for accuracy of their loads before the load leaves the yard.
• Taking pictures of the loads for future verification purposes
• Moving finished goods from the production transfer area out into the Shipping Yard
• Organizing and rotating stock place in yard
• Receiving raw material via van loads or flatbed loads which need to be unloaded in a time sensitive manner
• Receiving warehouse transfers of finished goods to be unloaded from flatbed trailers and placed in our yard for inventory
• Helping on a team during Year End Inventory accurately count and report all pipe in stock on our yard
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
• Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate is $20-$22
