Job summary

SRM Concrete in Georgia is seeking a Loader Operator to move materials and keep our plants running smoothly. You will operate loaders, load and unload trucks, and work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.

We offer local work with home daily, overtime after 8 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package. Training is provided if you have a willingness to learn and a valid driver’s license. Safety comes first on our fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Loader experience preferred but training provided.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to speak up when something isn't right.
• Ability to perform basic equipment checks and minor repairs.
• Team player with good communication.
• Physically able to move and work in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure materials are available.
• Work with the crew and production team to keep operations on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report any needed repairs for safety.
• Follow all safety rules and wear protective gear.
• Keep the work area clean and organized for safety.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to help improve operations.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant- keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing-your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized- because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you're needed- whether it's helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you're willing to learn and work hard, we'll train you.
• Valid Driver's License.
• You care about safety-yours and your team's—and you're not afraid to speak up if something's not right.
• You know how to check your equipment and handle basic fixes.
