About The Role

Holcim US, a major construction materials producer, is recruiting a full-time Loader Operator for a new project in Texas City, TX. New hires will train in Port Arthur for a few weeks before the project starts, which will last 18 months.

The role involves performing maintenance, operating equipment, and maintaining grounds and facilities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Operating rubber-tired tractor-type vehicles with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket to lift and transport bulk materials onto trucks.
2. Starting engines, shifting gears, and operating levers to load and dump materials.
3. Performing routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.
4. Maintaining communication with supervisors and customers.
5. Following safety policies and promoting a safety culture.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to use tools.
• Knowledge of company procedures.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements:

• Adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE, including respirators.
