Role Summary : The Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move, load, and transport materials at the Company's Sunniland Mine. This role involves handling raw materials, feeding crushers, and maintaining stockpile areas while adhering to strict safety and operational protocols.
Essential Responsibilities

· Operate front-end loaders to move and load materials such as ore, rock, or aggregates into crushers, conveyors, or haul trucks.
· Assist with maintaining stockpiles, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of materials for processing.
· Adhere to all Company safety regulations, including MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) standards, and participate in safety training and inspections.
· Perform daily inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or defects to supervisors.
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent material flow and meet production targets.
· Keep equipment and work area clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
· Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience operating front-end loaders in a construction, quarry, or material yard setting.
· Prior work in aggregate yards, material handling, or construction supply preferred.
· Familiarity with construction materials such as gravel, rock, sand, and crushed stone.
· MSHA certified or willingness to obtain certification according to the Company's training schedule.
· Must pass a drug test and background screening.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
· Must be able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
