Job summary

Pilgrims is hiring a Loader Operator to drive a truck equipped with a loader, move empty cages and load full cages. CDL-A license is required and 1–2 years of experience. Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math is needed.

The role includes dayshift Mon–Fri with possible weekends and a nights schedule Sun–Thu with weekends. Benefits start after 60 days, including vision, medical, dental, PTO, 401(k) matching, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.

Loader Operator

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Loader Operator for Pilgrims. The Loader Operator drives a truck equipped with a loader to and from their destination. This employee carries empty cages into the chicken house and loads full cages onto the truck. This position requires CDL licenses.

Responsibilities:

• Pre and post trip on trucks and loaders.
• Must run GPS system in trucks properly.
• Ensure safety.
• Catcher birds if needed.
• Back-Up to crew foreman.
• Help other loader operators or drivers as needed.
• Report any damage to farms or equipment.
• Report any catcher misconduct.
• Other duties as assigned.
