Current Openings:

Mechanic

Byler Quarries is seeking an experienced mechanic with heavy equipment knowledge. A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred. Mining background is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
• Must have working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, welding/fabrication, and MSHA regulations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possess a valid PA driver’s license.
• Three years of mining related experience preferred.
• Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments.
• Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
• Ability to work overtime/flexible schedule.
• Candidate required to provide own tools.

Loader Operator

Byler Quarries is seeking an experienced loader operator. A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred. General mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Ability to safely operate wheel loader around plant while efficiently stocking materials.
• Perform daily inspection of equipment.
• General mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Must be able to maintain a clean/organized stockyard and bin area.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must have good interpersonal skills with coworkers and customers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of construction related experience preferred.
• Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
• Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work overtime/flexible schedule.
