Levy Group of Companies - Loader Operator

Levy is seeking a dedicated Loader Operator to join our Memphis Mill team in Memphis, TN. Our ideal candidate is passionate about heavy equipment, safety, and working in a steel mill environment.

Position Details

• Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Shift: Varies

Responsibilities

• Operate a power-driven machine (14 ft. high by 21 ft. wide) to lift, transport, and dump molten slag-containing pots
• Follow all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping procedures
• Transport molten slag to designated locations and dump into stations
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
• Meet customer service expectations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic knowledge of equipment operation
• Valid Driver's License
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to perform various duties as needed
