Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Loader Operator for a Large Manufacturing Group in Gurnee, IL. You will operate equipment to meet production objectives and cross-train on Bindery assets to support the production line.

Loader Operator for Large Manufacturing Group

Salary: $20 - $25 per hour

We provides printed cartons, labels, inserts and flexible packaging to its 400+ customers in the healthcare, natural health, personal care, and consumer goods markets.

Job Details

• Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.


• Cross train on all finishing assets in the Bindery department.


• Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Operator, Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.


• Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.


• Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.

Success factors…

• Preferably +2 years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical skills operating machinery.


• Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.


• Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime. Work in a fast pace environment with ability to adapt to change.


• High school diploma or GED


• Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.


• Long periods of concentration.


• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
