Position Overview:

The Loader Operator will operate a front-end loader to move aggregate, demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Continuing education and safety compliance are encouraged.

Responsibilities:

• Operate large front-end loaders and other mechanized equipment safely.
• Load materials from stockpiles and estimate load sizes accurately.
• Perform general cleanup and maintain stockpiles.
• Assist with minor repairs and field adjustments.
• Perform landscaping duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical failures and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Trades skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for long periods, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks.
• Hear and see details clearly.

Working Conditions:

• Extended hours as needed.
• Exposure to extreme weather and noise.
• Mandatory protective equipment.
