TMS International is seeking a Loader Operator for our Cayce, SC location to support daily steel manufacturing operations. You will operate loaders, maintain safe and productive workflows, and help ensure a smooth, reliable production process in a demanding industrial environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with CAT or Komatsu loaders, the ability to handle hot slag materials safely, and a strong commitment to attendance. We offer competitive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
• Experience working around slag plants is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Maintain accurate and organized records as required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Experience in operating Caterpillar or Komatsu wheel loaders.
• Ability to work with hot material such as slag and steel safely.
• Perform proper pre‑operational inspection and document findings.
• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment before and after use such as cleaning windows, washing, and assisting with greasing.
• Effective radio and work communication with other employees.
• Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use.
• Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to supervision.

We are seeking a Loader Operator to join our team at our Cayce, SC location. As a Loader Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining productivity, ensuring a safe work environment, and supporting the daily operations of the steel manufacturing process.

Loader Responsibilities
