Job summary

The Class Produce Group in Maryland is hiring a Loader to arrange and load orders onto outbound trucks for deliveries to customers. You will perform duties in a warehouse setting, operating a forklift and pallet jack, and ensuring loads are secure and properly routed.

We seek individuals with at least 1 year in a warehouse, English reading/writing ability, and a willingness to work in a physically demanding role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and write English.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse; forklift experience; pallet jack experience.
• Produce experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Loads customer orders onto trucks from dock
• Ensure loads are secure before loading and unloading (chock wheels)
• Loads and unloads trucks and product using electric sit down forklift
• Operates equipment, such as forklift and pallet jacks in a safe manner as needed

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.
TRAINING, SKILLS, LICENSES: 1 year of experience working in a warehouse. Electric Pallet Jack experience. Forklift experience. Produce experience preferred, but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
