Ryerson is hiring a Service Center Operator C to join our Atlanta-area facility. You will handle day-to-day staging, packing, and picking of material for shipments, using SAP and standard safety practices.

You'll learn and operate sit-down or side loader forklifts, complete shipping paperwork, and support on-time delivery while working in a team-driven, apprenticeship-enabled environment that values accuracy and reliability.

Formación

• Successfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience preferred.
• Regular attendance.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.

Responsabilidades

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders.
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders.
• Packaging of material to customer requirements.
• Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift to move material as needed.
• Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer.
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation.

As a Service Center Operator C (SCOC) at Ryerson, you will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment.

Requirements
