Job summary

U.S. Silica in Middleton, TN is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate loaders, dozers, and excavators under supervision, performing pre-shift checks and assisting with mill setup.

You will work outdoors in all seasons, maintain equipment, conduct density tests, and monitor conveyors, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to multi-task, and be willing to pass drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced outdoor conditions.
• Experience or familiarity with mining or heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment by performing regular preventive maintenance checks.
• Assist with mill setup, screen changes, and clean up as needed.
• Perform material density tests throughout shift.
• Keep work area clean throughout the shift.
• Monitor reclaim hopper and conveyor.
• Operate dump truck when needed.
• Report any problems to immediate supervisor. Additional duties as assigned.
