Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Loader Formula, you will transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or by hand.

The Loader Formula prepares pallets of outgoing freight for shipping and transports pallets while observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Transporting items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, following a predetermined loading plan.
• Moving outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift, wrapping pallets with cellophane, securing loads, and ensuring shipping labels are in place.
• Locating proper trailer slots for orders, securing loads, and removing empty pallets and packing materials, inspecting pallets for damage, and storing them properly.
• Performing general housekeeping duties to keep warehouse areas, loading docks, and trailers clean and organized.
• Following safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions, and wearing required PPE and safety gear.
• Inspecting trailers before loading, meeting productivity and accuracy standards, and managing equipment and paperwork at shift end.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift repeatedly, and lift weights between 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
