Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a Distribution Center Loader to service a demanding customer base while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. You will receive, store, pick, stage, and load products following FIFO and company procedures in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires forklift operation experience, RF scanning, and teamwork with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth in our North Carolina

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
  • Previous forklift operation experience required.
  • Experience using hand tools.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and report malfunctions or repair needs.
  • Receive and accurately locate inventory using RF scanning technology.
  • Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound shipments according to customer requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Execute daily tasks in prescribed sequences to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and safety goals.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Assist with stock replenishment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.

Job description

The Distribution Center Loader is responsible for servicing a demanding customer base while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position plays a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, staging, and loading products while following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and company procedures. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Pay Rate: $24.78 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and report malfunctions or repair needs.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts as scheduled.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
