Job description

Day Shift: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm (Monday - Friday)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Loader will be responsible for loading trucks, using overhead cranes and forklifts using order set verification
• Load trucks and trailers with various steel material
• Must be flexible with hours needed to work Essential Functions
• Checking off material to load on a trailer
• Assist in the department as needed – general helper work
• Wear the proper safety equipment

Qualifications

• Crane and Forklift Skills
• One-year experience loading with forklift/crane
• One year experience using propane/diesel forklift
• Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above the shoulder height and below the waist
• Candidate must be able to work at heights over 5/10 ft
• A Highschool diploma or equivalent is required

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
