Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
• High school diploma or GED
• 6 Months Retail experience
• 6 Months Experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer
• 6 Months Retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping
• 6 Months Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection.
• Operate store equipment as needed depending on role and department.
• Communicate stock and product information to customers and employees, and provide project guidance when needed.
• Follow Lowe’s safety policies and procedures, including proper use of equipment and spotters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Loader responsibilities for Pro: support Pro customer relationships from arrival through order completion; engage Pro customers during loading and fulfillment; assist in loading areas and Pro canopy; ensure efficient service for large or complex orders; enroll customers in Pro Rewards and Pro Credit; maintain Pro Standards in parking and canopy; complete required equipment training and load orders safely.
• Loader responsibilities for Garden Center: assist customers and associates with loading in the Garden Center; stay available to support needs; load vehicles safely and accurately; help complete large orders and ensure safety; coordinate with Garden Center Supervisor to stage orders for pickup.
