Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno, California, is seeking a team member to palletize chicken products and load trailers. Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm with OT.

You will verify quantities and codes with a scanning gun, ensure accuracy, and support quality and food safety in compliance with USDA standards.

Candidates should have good communication, basic math, and the ability to work in a cold 28°F environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write numbers and perform basic math.
• Able to work in a 28ºF cold environment.
• Stand or walk 8–10 hours on a hard floor.
• Proficient with labels, scanning guns, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Must read/write in English.
• Must pass Power Industrial Truck licensing.
• LOTO program knowledge and training.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

• Read and write numbers, math skills, communication skills and ability to identify problems with labels, scan guns, rider pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Able to work in 28ºF cold environment
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolong periods of time (8-10HRS) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Must be able to show computer knowledge to deal with incoming and outgoing trucks
• Must be able to life 65+ LBS
• Maintain management standards.
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Capable of passing Power Industrial Truck licensing as well operating this heavy machinery
• Must have full understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out program and be capable of passing LOTO training
