Job summary

McConway & Torley in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Loader/Bander for our cleaning and finishing department. You will expedite movement of raw and finished materials and pull and deliver materials to maintain flow of goods.

The role requires operating forklift, PPE compliance, and working all shifts in a safety-focused plant environment with variable temperatures and noise. You will use handheld scanners and support quality checks.

Qualifications

• Able to operate forklift and wear respirator.
• Must work any shift.
• No pulmonary restrictions preventing respirator use.
• One year of on-the-job training and forklift certification.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to function as a team member.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, company vehicles and use fall protection.
• Load raw and finished materials to department areas.
• Band completed product prior to shipment.
• Conduct quality inspections as needed.
• Work with computerized systems and handheld scanners.
• Know all workstation layouts and material storage requirements.
