W. Lee Flowers in Scranton, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Loader to verify orders and load them onto trucks with power equipment, ensuring correct, damage-free deliveries. You will follow safety guidelines and maintain flow in the loading process as a team member within the department.

This role involves stacking, mapping loads, operating a Stand Up Pallet Jack, and completing load documentation while meeting productivity standards and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and possess basic math skills.
• Must possess ability to operate equipment mounted RF computer.
• Must follow logical progression of guidelines in stacking and loading trailers.
• Must possess moderate level spatial reasoning to solve loading issues.
• Must maintain a minimum weekly productivity average of 18 pallet scans/hour.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers in the proper sequence to avoid damaging product during transit to customers.
• Work in a safe manner adhering to all company safety guidelines, update equipment daily, and check list.
• Account for all pallets of all commodities.
• Re-stack pallets as necessary to ensure load safety and proper fit on trailer.
• Operate Stand Up Pallet Jack safely.
• Assemble loads with label facing out based on commodity and customer for easy unloading.
• Place required delivery equipment on trailer, shut and seal door.
• Complete paperwork and fill out load sheet.
• May lift 1 to 100lbs and reach/stack cases as needed.
• Sweep trailers prior to loading.
• Load by RF and understand all its functions.
• Follow training documents and procedures related to Food Safety and Food Defense.
• May perform other tasks as necessary.

LOADER POSITION AT WLF!

Schedule 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am/until Finished

5 day work week.Off Saturday and one day during the week.

As a 2nd Shift Loader you verify orders to be loaded onto trucks to assure customers get a correct and completely damage-free order. Using power equipment you will load orders on trucks in the proper sequence and to avoid damaging product during transit to customers. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the loading process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

• Assemble loads with label facing out based on commodity and customer to assure product can be easily unloaded once at delivery site.
• Use Stand Up Pallet Jack to load product on trailer in proper sequence.
• Place required delivery equipment on trailer, shut and seal door.
• Complete paperwork and fill out load sheet.
• May be required to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 100lbs.
• Sweep out trailers prior to loading.
• Must load by RF and understand all its functions.
• Responsible for following all training documents and procedures as it relates to Food Safety and Food Defense.
• May be required to do other tasks, as necessary
